DISTRICT TOURNAMENT TEAM FORMAT

 

Qualifying Round: Two four (4) person teams bowl 1 game of tenpin bowling.  Based on the scores of the Qualifying Round, the teams are seeded into the Championship Round.

 

Championship Round:  Rounds of single-elimination, best two (2) of three (3) bracket-play Baker game competition.

Please Note the following Change for Regional and State:

At the State and Regional Tournaments for both Team and Singles events there will be a charge for admission; cost is $3 for adults, $2 for Senior's and students, children 6 & under get in free

All Bowlers and Coaches MUST wear your bowling team polo shirt to get in at no charge.

STATE TOURNAMENT TEAM FORMAT

*Each Team Must Wear the KY High School Bowling Patch to participate*

 

Qualifying Round: Two four (4) person teams bowl 1 game of tenpin bowling.  Based on the scores of the Qualifying Round, the teams are seeded into the Championship Round.

 

Championship Round:  Rounds of single-elimination, best three (3) of five (5) bracket-play Baker game competition. 

 

Note:  A tie in any Baker game will be broken by the completing the three game Baker Set.  If each team wins one game with one tie, the winner will be decided by an additional game of  Baker play.  If it remains tied Baker games will be bowled until there is a winner

 

2010 State Championships will be held at Superbowl in Erlanger, KY on March 13th.  The Boys will bowl at 9:00 AM followed by the Girls at 1:30 PM

 

SINGLES TOURNAMENT

2 Divisions Male & Female

Bowlers will bowl 3 games with the top 8 advancing to the state finals

 

Qualifying sites:

NORTH: Erlager, KY - February 28, 2010 @ 9AM at Super Bowl

WEST: Louisville, KY - February 28, 2010 @ 9AM at Shively Strike & Spare

EAST: Lexington, KY - February 28, 2010 @ 1PM at Eastland Lanes

SOUTH: Campbellsville, KY - March 7, 2010 @ 9AM at Phillips Lanes

 

Singles State Tournament

Qualifying Round:  Bowlers will bowl 3 games with the top 5 of each gender advancing to a step ladder final.
